20 Differences- Ice Cubes

Object: Ice cubes
Dimensions: Varying, around 1" x 3/4"
Inventory Date: 1/24/12
Location Found: My suitemate's fridge and my fridge

Differences:
1. Transparency- some are more opaque than others
2. Shape- not all the same shaped rectangle
3. Size- some were much smaller, some bigger
4. Gleam- some were glistening, others were dull
5. Texture- some smooth, others rough
6. Color- some looked bluish, others gray
7. Rate of melting- some quickly started melting (the clear ones especially), while others didn't
8. Inner pattern- each cube had a different intricate pattern beneath the surface
9. Temperature- the more opaque the ice cube the colder it was
10. Durability- some were harder than others
11. Malleability- most were brittle, others broke little if at all
12. Weight- some felt more dense and thus heavier than others
13. Height- some were taller than others
14. Corners- some had rounded corners, other had more defined ones
15. Traction- the more opaque ones cause tongues to get stuck on the ice
16. Cast shadows- each has its own unique, luminescent shadow
17. Edge- some edges had ice crystals clumped together, others adhered to the ice tray edge
18. Taste- slight differences in taste
19. Crackle- when dropped in water, some cracked some didn't
20. Float- each one floated in a different way in water
