Project 2 by Natalie

Here is my work for project two.... I created my designs from the inspiration of the American pop artist Jasper Johns.  He is most famous for his flag paintings which he did these repeatedly using different patterns or techniques to accomplish the simple subject matter over and over again. Many of his works are composed of simple schemas such as stars, stripes, flags, targets, and numbers. That is where my compositions stemmed from, trying to repeat the usage of simple familiar objects and shapes.
