a while back i was in new york and i stumbled into some department store, and i distinctly remember seeing this beautiful fleur-de-lis ring in a center showcase. i must've walked past it like six times and finally broke down and tried it on. i loved it. the only problem was that it had way too many zeros on the price tag. i was pretty bummed on the walk back to my hotel, but it got me thinking, "i can probably make some of my own jewelry for a fraction of the price!" and so, ever since then i've been sketching my pieces on paper, carving them out of wax, and casting them in silver. here are some pictures i took at the shop today..
