Tiho Vujovic

Tiho Vujovic is a Montenegrin artist from the Mediterranean town Cetinje, otherwise known as "the Valley of the Gods." Before Tiho discovered his passion for art and painting, he majored in engineering at the top of his class. After he graduated from the Academy of Montenegro, he spent countless days and dedication towards creating extremely well crafted masterpieces and realized his heart was set on art. Soon after, Tiho Vujovic founded an organization called ArtKok which helped influence creativity and the experimentation of different types of art medias within his hometown, Cetinje. Through ArtKok Tiho managed Cetinje's city theatre, a number of galleries, four music bands and various dance groups. He was an active member of his community and his artwork and personal gallery had a significant impact on the people of Cetinje who began to value creativity more highly. Vujovic had spent five years in Italy and six months in Paris studying masterpieces and visiting world famous art museums. Tiho has organized nine exhibitions throughout various cities in Europe and had an astonishing eight thousand five hundred people visit his first exhibition in the capital of his home country. What I mainly admire about Tiho Vujovic is his view of artwork as a privilege and how the reminiscent messages that are depicted through a person's artwork have a powerful meaning that tends to unravel secrets of the future. He is constantly trying to make people more aware of how important artwork is to culture and society. Artwork is an innovative way of making your mark in history and should be recognized as an important and unique aspect of today's world. Talent is rare and with practice, and persistent effort, hard work pays off for an artist's self-fullfillment. Tiho Vujovic is an extremely devoted artist who is currently trying and struggling to open exhibits within the United States. I hope that in the near future he will get the opportunity to display his talent in America, as well as the rest of the world. It is evident that tiho Vujovic has a unique, surrealistic style that should be discovered rather than go unnoticed. Another interesting fact about Tiho is that he was originally inspired by his motto that "not everything can be touched by a finger." His paintings are mainly acrylic and oil and his style is one of kind with fluid webs, abstract human figures and circular objects. Although art is subjective and can be either liked or disliked based on the eye of the beholder, the people of his home country claim that his paintings are so elegant and powerful that they can "cure the soul."
