Leaf Observational Study

Hello everyone. For my group’s observation exercise we chose to create a sculpture with leaves- fallen leaves to be exact. The composition was set to have leaves hanging in order of smallest to largest, largest being the farthest from frontal view. The idea behind hanging leaves in this particular order was to demonstrate the comparison leaves have with human beings. The youngest, smallest, tend to have the most attention and needs the most care while the elderly, largest, fall behind the younger generations and lose much of their attention from society. However in comparison to the sizes, the elderly have the most wisdom and knowledge about the world than the smaller young-ling who fall short in understanding life and having little experience of the world. The sculpture is made to be seen in three dimensions and each side has its own purpose. Depending on the perspective one views the sculpture, the attention of the viewers also change simultaneously.
Hope you enjoy.
